Give your pupils the chance to try on armour and clothing, learn how to extinguish an incendiary bomb, put together a section of timber-framed house, experience the excitement of a live musket or cannon firing, and much, much more!

The History Man works at Beacon, convent and grammar schools, infant and junior schools all over the country, and his clients come back year after year.

Handling sessions are built into the talks - each child will go home having handled many relevant historic items, and having taken part in lots of fun activities!

Presentations are designed to cover key points of the National Curriculum, and complement the work of the teacher.

During art and craft sessions, The History Man's formal training in art means that he will be able to instruct the children in observation skills and technique.  At the end of the day they will have some super drawings for their sketchbooks or to display in school!

The History Man's drive and enthusiasm is infectious, captivating and inspiring the children, and leaving a wealth of ideas for use in the classroom.
